Q&A about super lightweight modeling clay
Q1.How can I glue pieces of clay together?
A1.We recommend craft glue or carpentry glue fit for paper and wood that turns transparent on drying.
Q2.How can I keep my finished clay flawless?
A2.Glaze it with water varnish, which will repel water and dust. You can also choose clay varnish or sealer from our products.
Q3.Can I wet my clay?
A3.Our super lightweight products do dissolve a little. They canft be used near water, but they can be made waterproof by coating them with our water-resistant glaze.
Q4.What can I do when my clay turned stiff?
A4.If it has just started drying, a little water will help to make it soft again, but when it is completely dry, that canft be fixed.
Q5.Can I paint my clay?
A5.Basically, you can paint your clay with any type of paint. We recommend acrylics (ex: Pros Acrylics from Padico) that are clear in color and resistant to fading.
Q6.How long should I dry my finished piece?
A6.That depends on the size and thickness of your piece. To dry the surface takes about 3 hours. To dry completely takes 12 hours to 2 days.
Q7.How can I get a flawless finish?
A7.Keeping your hands and tools clean is most important. Clean them every time when using different color clays, which will prevent colors from mixing together. It is also effective to put on a little hand cream or cold cream when working with clay.
